Last year and until this first quarter of this year, the latest models of the top and premier auto makers are being unveiled, just like the news have captured. I am sure all of these new models will also be displayed in the upcoming Manila International Auto Show 2012 (MIAS). Hopefully, when they say all new all are really improved and changed, not jut adding some new headlights, bumpers and even curt hitch from the previous models. Hopefully all of the issues from the previous models will also be improved or changed.

Business Meeting

Imagine how companies now can reduce their travel and allowance expenses because of technology. It used to be that if the company would be holding seminars and business trip meetings, they would incur expenses for the people who will travel and for their allowances pertaining that that trip. But now almost every company now has web conferencing solution wherein every time you need to call a meeting with people from different business branches, there would be no need for them to travel anymore to the site. They can attend the meeting in the comfort of their offices.

Small Space

More and more people really want to work in the city. Maybe because there will be no available jobs for them in the province where they came. That’s why more and more people living in the city has contributed to its congestion. Like what is happening now in the Metro. You can’t find low cost housing or town houses in the city. All are now in an apartment or condominiums. Imagine a family of five living in a one bedroom place. The use of ceiling tv mounts for their appliances is a big help to conserve more space to be used by the family.

Spratly Dispute

It is sad that China seems really pursuing their claims about over the ownership of the Spratly Islands in south China sea and it seems like we are bullied in our own home and we have nothing to do but to cry for help. Like the latest news allegedly about the sending of China’s biggest battle ship to guard the disputed group of island. In response, the Philippines also sent their world record patrol ship. The oldest smallest world war two battle ships are in the area.

The defense department of the Philippines is always expressing the lack of budget to purchase modern equipment at least not for war but to guard our sovereignty and yet the wife and the family of those generals who areq5 allegedly involved in a multi millions of pesos in corruption are there in front of barcode scanner busy shopping using the peoples money.

Golds

I am a fan of a show on cable where a bunch of businessmen bid and buy items that are stocked for a long time and un-attended by the owners in some garage. It was done by the garage owner. Maybe if the person rented the stock room or warehouse failed to pay in a certain month then the stuff would be subject to bidding. Although it is a gamble to those who bid because they are only given five minutes just to see the items inside the warehouse. It is prohibited to thoroughly check it. It is an investment like you are about to buy gold coins where if you were lucky it will not just double or triple your investment but sometimes more than that.

With the development of cell phones and internet, almost every thing now is within our reach especially in terms of business and technology information. You can have better business transactions with your client as well with your business partner and employees. You can have conference calls with your business associates wherever you are as long as there’s an internet access. You can even put up a store just within the confines of your house. Really today’s wired world makes doing business easy.

Fire Month

I wonder why according to some weather reports we will be experiencing cold temperature until the end of February and also will experience to much rain during the summer season? What is this? It is really hot in the past days and it feels like it’s already summer time. No wonder there’s fire already even when it is a bit far from the fire month. It’s better to prepare water in steel drums already. At least in case of fire and also water shortage this coming summer time, they will come in handy.

I will never forget the month of January since this marked the first time I went into web publishing three years ago I started posting blogs on January 19, 2008 and it was my very first post on this web site. Then I started my other websites with my own domain name and hosting. Hopefully someday for the security of my other websites I am thinking of having a pci compliance hosting. My three years old site now has 411 posts and I wish that this will continue more in the coming years.

Business

I have a cousin who has a hard time doing some collections in his business. Since he is engaging with big companies here, he finds it challenging to fight them. Although it is big business and he will earn much, but big companies don’t give out money easily. That makes those companies owe him big money that even he had a hard time budgeting also. Only if we can have business credit card here designed for corporate, sole proprietorship, new business, and small business owners can he be able to sustain his business.

Rescued Miners in Chile

Posted by Suplado | 10/13/2010 | | 0 comments »

As expected, the 33 miners who were trapped underground due to the landslide in Chile were finally rescued as of today. The Chile peoples have developed a great kind of tunnel where the men were safely rescued one by one.

Once everyone was out, families and relatives of those who were rescued must have felt like they have found a gold bullion seeing their loved ones safe and back to the bright world.

It was reported that a baby born recently around the time of this event was supposed to be named “Carolina” but due to this event, her parents decided to name her “Esperanza” instead as this means “hope” in Chile’s language.

It’s indeed a happy ending for this event.

Gold Coin

Everybody loves gold. It is an important possession. The story of Midas did not materialize for nothing. Ask any collector what he or she would like to include in their collection and gold would be among the things that would stand out.

Gold comes in many forms. To the ordinary person, gold coins are the most popular. To the upper class homes, jewelry could be preferred.

The other day, I was surprised to know that there is such a thing as an edible gold. I said to myself that people are really into gold so much that now, they even want to eat it.

Life can be really hard nowadays. Working with a minimum wage is not really enough to have a nice living condition especially if you are the only the one working for the family. There’s a lot of jobs to engage in to have extra source of income to support other family needs. That’s why I keep searching for what will be a good business to start on. For me the best business today is selling gadgets like cellphones, laptops, and other gadgets like MP3 players. It came to my mind and because I don’t have extra time to go outside and enough capital for a space, I just want to sell online. Most people would just search for wholesale laptops and gadgets suppliers and then sell them online.

Bus Accident

Almost every week of last month, we would hear buses having an accident which also recorded lots of fatalities and even death. That makes me want to be extra careful when driving around with these big buses beside me on the road. It makes me think of having a cheap life insurance quotes. Hopefully the government agency regulating the transport sector will really impose all the guidelines and formulate new guidelines just to insure safety and prevent more accidents on the road.

Taking Advantage

Posted by Suplado | 9/04/2010 | | 0 comments »

It’s really freaking me out when I see that there are still people taking advantage of his fellowmen. For instance, in the local market you are not sure if the scales that vendors are using are really giving you the right weight. Lately, my cousin from the province attended a convention here in the metro and she was victimized by those irresponsible taxi drivers. I am not generalizing taxi drivers here but there are still few good drivers. Imagine, the taxi driver was asking 500 pesos just from Roxas Boulevard to Airport on a Sunday morning when we all know roads are normally not traffic around this time.

We are always shouting for a change where we cannot do it first with In our selves.

Collector Items

Different people love to collect different kinds of things. These things can vary from stamp, toy car, sticker, gold coin, cap, scarf, handkerchief, and many more.

When I was younger I used to collect photographs of sunset, musical instruments and quill. The sights of these tell me that the world is such a beautiful place to be in.

Lately, I also appreciate keeping in my purse coins from different countries. So far, I’ve got coins from the Philippines, U.S., Indonesia, Hong Kong and Belgium. They are all silver coins. Who knows if one day, I’ll also get to have a gold coin. That would be something really precious and for sure, I’ll be a proud owner.

Diamonds Are Forever

Posted by Suplado | 8/24/2010 | | 0 comments »

Many believe that diamonds are really forever that’s why this is one of the favorite stones of many people.

Diamonds are the hardest natural material known. Approximately 130 million carats (26,000 kg (57,000 lb)) of diamonds are mined annually, with a total value of nearly US$9 billion, and about 100,000 kg (220,000 lb) are synthesized annually according to Wiki. A large percentage of it came from Africa where you can also buy wholesale diamonds. Although there are some controversies about blood diamonds or a conflict because of diamonds, people are still dreaming of owning diamonds.

When you have reached the middle aged years the word retirement becomes an inevitable and glaring word for you. You can’t help but think about what’s in store for you for the rest of your years on this earth. Will you be able to support yourself financially without having to depend on other people? Will you be able to support your child or children well enough to fend them through college? Questions like these will sound easy to answer if one has prepared for his or her retirement.

One wise way to become financially secure is to learn how to save. But a wiser approach is to learn how to invest. There are various investment options such as when you buy gold eagle coins, real estate, mutual funds, government bonds, stocks and many others.

It is never too late to start investing towards a worry free retirement in the future.

Election

Hopefully after the national elections, the people will accept and support whoever wins in this historical event. This is the first ever automated election in the country.

As we all know in the past election, no candidates were lost as they claim they were cheated. Hopefully in the automated election losing candidates can now learn to concede as what we have heard the other day that national candidates were conceding. Forget, forgive and just support the winning candidates. This is just my advise to those who lost: there are lots of best anti wrinkle cream in the market today.

A Journey to Wealth

Posted by Suplado | 5/04/2010 | | 0 comments »

One of the interesting films I got to watch lately is a movie called “Journey to the Center of the Earth” starring Brendan Fraser. The story revolves around a failing science professor, a mountain climbing guide and a child who is the nephew of the professor. The three find themselves embarking on an adventure in search of the center of the earth that the professor’s brother.

As an adult who has already somehow let go of my childish fantasies, what struck me in the film is on how much valuable gems are in making someone wealthy. There is a scene where the child got to collect diamonds such that when the three got back to the “normal earth,” they are already wealthy. The professor is able to purchase his failing office and instantly becomes the boss.

In reality, one doesn’t need to embark on such majestic journey to get an investment piece like a diamond. One simply has to buy gold bullion as a means to preserve wealth. This is because gold never depreciate in value. It only increases over time.

Computer Upgrade

I think I really need to add more memory in my PC now. With my present one-gig capacity I have right now, I think this is not enough with all the programs and downloading I am doing. With the advancement of technology and with all of the software and programs present nowadays, a simple computer set up will not be good enough now.

I remember my first ever computer set up has only 32 kb memory and four- gig hard drive with 240 kb processor but I could still open programs and download music. But now I am planning to buy memory in addition to my one-gig memory and one-terabyte hard drive with 2.6 gig processor.
