Everyone has been eagerly anticipating the launch of the new Jimny 5-door ever since reports of its sightings have been published late last year. Fortunately, the long wait is over as Suzuki Philippines, the country’s pioneer compact car distributor, officially unveiled the New Jimny 5-door on January 25, 2024 at The Cove, Okada Manila.

 According to an article entitled “So Fight the Brave,” which appeared in the Sunday Times Magazine on March 3, 1946, writer TD Agcaoili narrates that when General Guillermo Nakar was detained at Fort Santiago, he regularly used the thumbs up gesture to signal that “everything was okay, keep your chin up, and keep on fighting” thus uplifting the spirit of the inmates.

 The UMA Racing MMR Yamaha Philippines team continues their quest to bring back the elusive UB150 ARRC Championship to the country after a rough 2023 season. The last time it was in the hands of the Filipinos was in 2019 when McKinley Kyle Paz ruled the category. The 1958-’59 Gibson Explorer is one of the most valuable and collectible vintage guitars. Today it will cost you $250,000 to $310,000. This is followed by 1936-’42 Martin D-45 but it costs more than the 1958 Gibson Explorer because you can have it for $250,000 to $400,000. Prices are way much higher than the usual used guitars available at Musicians Friend.  Did you know that the most expensive guitar was the Fender Stratocaster which was sold for $2.7 million in a charity auction in Quatar in 2005. The guitar was just signed by 19 famous music stars like Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood, Brian May, David Gilmour, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Mark Knopfler, Pete Townshend, Tony Iommi, Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Sting, Ritchie Blackmore, the members of Def Leppard, Bryan Adams, Liam Gallagher, and Paul McCartney. 

After a successful piano recording, maybe it is time to more serious recording. Maybe this time, we have to check the Guitar Center, recording king guitars although our plan is to master the use of recording software that will help us in mixing and enhancing the recorded sound. As we all know it is not cheap to invest in a good recording studio, but with the availability of online software, you can now choose the lesser-priced option yet can deliver better recording.
