Playing guitar used to be my favorite past time. Perhaps it was the favorite past time of many people in our barangay before. During that time, cable TV was not yet even available in our place. There were no computer games, cell phones, tablets, and even a CD or MP3 player at that time. All that we did during free time was to gather with our friends with just an old guitar and we would be playing with the cheapest strings for guitar where we strummed. We wre all happy singing until karaoke came into our place and almost every establishment had it.

Many still believe in the coming of sunshine after the rain in this country. We can still have a party, sound system and bubble machine despite the inclement weather we just experienced a few days ago. We thank Almighty Father Yahweh because as of today, the sun already shines after after almost a week of continuous raining, leaving Luzon especially Metro Manila almost 50 percent in flood water. At least some of the major roads which were previously not passable for the past days can now be used by the SUV’s. But I still see some of light vehicles like cars passing through almost two feet of flood waters. 

 There is still more fun to expect in this country, after all.

Sometimes we get mad if our kids play a lot inside our house especially if they scattered their toys, dis some bouncing in our beds, played basketball inside our living room and even broke some of our green chalcedony beads, figurines and some house decors. But it is better to see them like that than seeing them in bed and sick. As a parent. For instance it is really hard to see my son even with the slight fever. His cry is somewhat a siren in my ear compared to the noise I heard them when he is laughing. Always remember we are also like them when we are still a kid.

As the rainy season came in the month of June, the country still doesn’t have a break of almost every day and almost every other week, weather disturbances like low pressure and typhoons. We don’t even have time to use our kuat bike racks to do some outdoor biking. I also have been having cough and flu for almost two weeks and a fever a week before that. Hopefully after this typhoon Gener, we can see the sun again. As we all know cold weather is about to come these “ber” months which is a few months from now.

I am one of the millions who love to collect perfumes. It started more than 20 years ago during my first year in college. One of my uncles was giving me perfume every time he would arrive from abroad. Sadly, I lost lots of my perfume collections when our house was caught on fire. But it didn't stopped me from starting to collect perfumes again. My perfume collection usually comes as a gift from my family, relatives and friends. Lots of them have not been opened because I just usually use ordinary perfume on day-to-day. But when I did my collection inventory last year, I found out that one my hugo boss perfume is a fake.I realized it is fake because it is spelled out as HUGO BOSE instead.

For the past year, a lot of talents were discovered through social media and especially in You tube. Singers, magicians, dancers and even small kids with extraordinary talents. Talents that are made from the million of people watching the videos posted online. As we all know, entering show business before not only requires talents and over all X factor, but also patience to go in lines of auditions to be discovered, apart from joining different talent shows. But now, all you need is the internet connection, video camera and your talent. Whatever it is, just make sure it is slightly unique even if it also involves playing guitar, trombone with doug yeo mouthpiece and violin while singing as long as it can capture millions of viewers online.

I know lots of us now are considering things that can give us additional income. We know how hard life is. What we have today makes us think business will help us in this financial burden we experence. But what is the best business today? Is it a retail store? I know someone that even with the help of Retail POS System,  she still suffered from some minor losses. But for me, a good business is one that will satisfies you even as you8 help people. It is the kind of business that you feel you are good at. Do not put just any  business to follow someone who has succeeded if you honestly feel that it’s not for you.
