Oprah Winfrey is woman who doesn’t need an introduction. I mean who does not know her at this time and age. She did not become the highest paid TV personality as reported by Forbes Magazine for nothing.
It was reported that in 1978 when Oprah was applying to become a talk show host, she did it out of guts because she said she was overweight, black and not blond. Yet ABC Chicago’s Dennis Swanson got her seeing that she has the “gift and likes to share it with this television station. The rest is history.
She has graced each and every popular media, yet surprisingly, she is someone who never fit into the mold. This is probably her competitive advantage making her stand out from the rest.
