Warren Edward Buffett, also often called as “Oracle of Omaha” at the age of 78 now ranked by Forbes the richest man in the world as of March 2008 taken away to his long time friend Bill Gates who’s holding the top for almost 15 years. Buffet was born August 30, 1930, in Omaha, Nebraska. The Largest share holder and CEO of Bershire Hathaway as of March 2008, Buffett’s net worth is estimated at about $62 Billion.
Buffet is an investor, businessman and well known controversial philanthropist when he announced that he is giving away his fortunes and shares to charities. He is still living in the same house he bought in 1958 for $31,500, the house was only valued $700,000 today, in the central Dundee neighborhood of Omaha.
Unconventional, simple despite his wealth, with the annual salary of $100.000, that’s small compared to the Senior Executive from other companies but Buffett was listed among Time's 100 Most Influential People in The World.
Now, he formalized his relationship to his long time and constant companion for more than 20 years a financier Astrid Menks. Even he was still married to his first wife Susan T Buffett who died in 2004. Warren had three children to his wife Susan namely Susie Buffett, Howard Graham Buffett, and Peter Buffett.
